CLONE
Founded in 1981 as Cryo-Genetic Laboratory by Dr. George Govette as one of the first laboratories involved in the development of Canine Frozen Semen.
The new name CLONE derives from the first letter of each of the words - Cryo-genetic Laboratory of New England .
CLONE specializes in Frozen Semen, Chilled Semen, Trans-cervical Inseminations including Animal Reproduction and Artificial Insemination of dogs, cats, equine, and birds.
For almost 20 years, CLONE has perfected extraordinary systems in artificial insemination and semen preservation. This success is documented by the fact the CLONES' conception rate was 79% before the use of the Trans-cervical insemination technique and is now 87% with frozen semen insemination using the Norwegian Catheter(Trans-cervical Insemination) These phenomenal figures make CLONE the leader worldwide.
CLONE is the only organization in America capable of practicing and utlizing the extraordinary Trans-cervical technique known as the Norwegian Pipette System. This system entails passing a small catheter through the bitch's cervix where the semen is deposited directly into the uterine horns. Most of CLONE's competitors in the United States must inseminate a bitch surgically with the use of anesthesia to produce litters with frozen semen.
These statistical figures of success make CLONE the leader of all worldwide organizations. CLONE is also the largest international canine freezing organization in the world, with CLONE associates in England, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Argentina and Brazil.
There are 18 CLONE centers in the USA and 13 outside USA all trained by CLONE in both Frozen Semen technique and the Chilled Semen system.
